Sleep Sweet

Wave’s crash unimpeded on battle scarred shore.

A full moon sinks; horizons collapse in spiritual war.

Come hither now one thousand angels from across the bleeding sky.

Translations are soon apparent from the sweet incense of darkest night.

These dreams tarry no more; jubilations rise from victories born.

Sleep sweet now in the hush as the mighty sea begins to cease.

Rest all knowing in the comfort which has set all men free.

Sleep sweet now in peace forevermore…

I read your poem and could only see eternal slumber - death. The slumber that sets us free from this life. For me, this picture that I see is restful and beautiful.

wonderful picture created with words. Words painting across the sky and capping the tops of the waves of the sea. A wonderful depiction of the beauty all around us.

Sleep well, sleep peacefully to the sound of the ocean creeping onto the shore. Very serene and well done, enjoyed....

Be safe,
