Hail To The Chief
Darkest night shudders amidst twisted limbs and black smoke.
Precursors come forewarned; wars, famine; gone soon, hope.
Curse now this spirit most foul which lingers upon a frayed thread.
Curse now the darkness for their dreams reside with the dead.
“See said the king; see me as I rule from my brass throne.”
“I bring you false absolution and you still praise me in song.”
“I am the king, I rule this putrid little world, I am the king, no not a thief.”
And all the minions chimed to pipers salute…”Hail To The Chief”

I grew up with a worse king then that, left a bad taste in my mouth forever, especially for those that sing the pipers tune, the sad cowards, the sycophants of this, and all times, which president was it that said, something like you have to fight for freedom every day

Sounds like a commentary on the current and recent former presidents. How sad.
