A North Wind Arose

A North wind arose and came soft this noonday.

A gathering of crows cawed; gray squirrels abandoned their play.

The leaves whistled and broke free from the mighty oak.

They came swirling, swirling and rising fast and then quietly fell to the ground.

A North wind arose and whispered….

“Prepare…prepare, for soon I bring the darkness of winter your way.

Wish ol' North Wind would come down Texas way; we're above normal in temps; better than the nineties, in eighties, but still--I want some seventy-degree weather; now THAT would be refreshing! AHHHHH! :) Very well done, J. Allen; bravo!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your (heat weary) Texas friend, Karen Lynn. :)

Wish it would come down Texas way: one day of relief, then back to Red October (not the leaves, the temps)--brilliant display of Autumn's arrival, J. Allen, well done.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
