Take Me
Soft tender is the morning touch.
Symphonic passages steal this hearts song.
Harmonious is this desire to reveal so much.
Oh by your side in warmth’s embrace I belong.
So keep me this day; hold me close to your side.
Show me by loves grace that I am no longer dead but alive.
Lay your hand upon my chest and feel my beating heart.
Look into my sleepy eyes and swear upon this day to never part.
For though this the bitter wind outside howls and moans.
Though adversity has danced merry our love has grown.
So take now of me this soft tender and morn.
Take me into the gentleness where true love is born.
TAKE ME…
