Christmastime, And Pumpkin Pies
Christmastime, pumpkin pies.
Peace delivered, oh precious time.
Children laughing, Santa promenades.
Merriment basking upon winters cool shade.
Sweet is the glory to which through these eyes appear.
Delectable intricacies whispered for this my ear to hear.
Old men gather spinning tales of Christmases past.
Solemn soldiers far away dreaming of Christmas last.
Hope renewed from a promise long ago made.
Fulfillment came resolute in the birth of Christ that day.
So it is now unto this season; this most special time of year.
That man should rejoice and cast down all fear.
Oh what glory; oh wonderful and precious life.
Praise be to the Lord Thy God most high.
