A Million Years And A Day
Never enough of this heart can say, never enough can it proclaim.
For by truth which falls from promised lips, comes now my soft courage.
By this and for this it is your love; your true love which gives to me this simple strength.
Though I chase the wind and grasp gangly at my dreams I am sound and secure in knowing you will always love me.
So why this pitter which rambles on and on should to fortunes end?
For this very soul which cleaves to thee each night, would that our hearts win.
So never enough can this small I, this plain little me unto you my love say.
Never, oh never, not even if I had a million years and a day.
