Twilights Call
Lavender horizons conclude the day.
Gentle is the rush on rocks below.
Errant cranes spread their wings.
Woodland ducks on twilight’s last call now show.
Nature steals my heart in a most comfortable way.
Absent is the mindless chatter of a world on the go.
Sweet is the hush that falls upon the rugged land.
Void and empty of the sounds perpetrated by man.
God is here…I sense Him in the rose hewn sky.
His presence is all around as this day concedes to night.
Listen close and you’ll hear Him softly speak.
For He is here within my soul; He is upon the river below.
He is in the waters gentle rush on twilights call...He is here on evenings sweet hush.

Sunsets are my favorite gift. And your wonderful words brought me that missed moment during this cold storm we are enduring.
Thank you--RaeLynn
