J. Allen Wilson 1957- 2047
On Good Friday April the 3rd, Author; Artist and friend J. Allen Wilson slipped quietly away in the darkness of night passing through the hidden veil into eternity. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of sixty years, Leah C. Wilson. Surviving also are their two children Allen and Sherry; three Grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
For those who knew Allen knew him as a simple man with a generous heart for the suffering. Together in the span of thirty five years he and his wife founded and run the homeless shelter “Mission Of Hope” for Veterans. It was here that Allen was able to give back to the men and women of this country who had given so much of their own self. He fostered in them a sense of pride and he gave them hope when their own government turned a blind eye to their need.
In addition to his life’s work in the mission, Allen was also and artist and author. Though he never received fame and fortune from these endeavors, his work inspired others to spread their own wings and fly. He encouraged many of the homeless vets over the years at the shelter to express themselves in art and writing rather than using drugs and alcohol to escape their demons. One of these men under his care went on to write the bestseller “In The Night Of A Desert Storm”.
Services will be held Easter Sunday at the Garden Of memories at 1pm.

The dates and times, the how?...make for an interesting psychological explanation, as to why we could choose certain things, ahead of time!???
Interesting to say the least...I must give it a whirl...well, maybe? Kinda gives me the "willies" too...:)
I commend you for the efforts you have done for our forgotten soldiers...and the inspirations you give to those in need of guidance...
