We Have A Winner....

by J. Allen Wilson — Read all 1,629 poems by J. Allen Wilson

That's right; we have two winners in the free "whispers of the heart book give away. The winners are Anessa Blaine and Karla Storm Spinner with honorable mention to Kathy Armijo

I had originally planed on giving one book away to the one who translated the poem. However, the efforts of these two poetesses made it difficult to choose only one. Therefore two books from J. Allen Wilson will hit the mail box soon.

Even though their translations were not exact, they were so very close. Their ability to look at things from a different point of view and see beyond the norm is right on target. I appreciate them taking the time to decipher the riddle and I hope they had as much fun with it as I did.

Below is the translation from as it was written before being converted into an anagram and another photo from last night that also helps express the sum of the piece…

Loves Grace

Love is foundations sweet grace.

Unto which sacred hearts find endearments place.

Upon this river that steals my soul.

Come now the emulsification which makes me whole.

For beneath her calm waters I lie.

Raptured by luminescent glory from on high.

Gawd...now my head really hurts...I was close though; I thought that last line said "Ed (Matlack) was high and doing a rap at the one mile marker." Well, I was close. Nice work to all.

Cheers,
Dan

J.Allen,

Thank you, I am honored (as I said in my message to you). :) That's what I thought it said LOL Man, oh man, this one drove me NUTZ!!!!!!!! Tried to decipher it all day--Greek (or Icelandic) to me. LOL Even prettier this time 'round. Well done, keeping this one.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

I'm glad Anessa and I both get a copy, will be looking for it! Thanks, again. :)

J. Allen~

I didn't even ATTEMPT to figure this one out; I am learning disabled, and I don't do too well with scrambled up words; my brain's already scrambled enough as it is! I'm glad I left that up to the experts! LOL Very interesting challenge, and thanks for the translation! Very well penned; bravo!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :D

Did you see my obituary? It's in stories! :) Go to my stories, click on Stories by date, and then you'll see it. Enjoy! :)
