Docile Are The Lions

Docile are the lions which lie on the addendum of my dream.

Passive symbols; massively carved in the stone I only see.

I hearken to the gentle nudging of my fast beating heart.

I give in to the calling whilst rebuking the trailing tow of dark.

Quiet said the inner man; shush now so that He may speak.

Silences creep…silent like to stone lions that eternally sleep.

I close my eyes and now, oh now I see.

I see mountains which peak beyond the sky.

I see now where dreams and wishes can truly fly.

I see hope rise above the clouds of doom.

I see the son of man coming soon.

I see, I dream… and now at last I hear Him speak.

Docile are these lions for the lamb in me…

Truly inspirational! And so I pray - Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keep ... "docile are these lions for the lamb in me."

God bless you. Kathy
