Short but a lot to contemplate in just a few lines. This to me seems to refer to a religious issue. As a child I could never figure out why everything in church had to be paid for. Like if you lit a candle for someone deceased you had to put money in it, if you wanted a mass said for someone sick you had to pay for it, even though we had no food on our table when that collection plate passed our parents always found somthing to put in it. Can God be bought? anyway sorry off on a tangent but this write triggered a defiante response and that is the mark of a great work.
