Razor Images

Razor images cut through the mind.

Joy; sorrow replaced by nothing.

Numb to the issues, numb to the day.

Voices call out my name; shadows steal away.

No ones coming; everyone is now here.

Silent screams in blended rush raise my fear.

There is a knock on the door; a call in the night.

My Heart is unmoved; too tired now to fight.

Pounding of flesh against wood; I don’t move; I can’t.

No energy; no food; numb nothings capture this fool.

The voices rise again; more poundings of flesh to wood.

Razor images shred the last hope; nothing is understood.
