Oh Little Man

Oh Little Man…

Oh poor little man who huddles cringing in the dark.

Your tears wrought of fear steals joy from your heart.

Menacing are the Shadows which grow to consume the mind.

Yet fear is not of God and deliverance comes in His time.

So cry not for what was nor tremble for what you fear will never be.

He has lent his ear to your cry and by grace He will meet thy need.

Look up now little man; look up and see.

It is only by fear that the darkness should feed.

7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

II Timothy 1:7

Allen, this is beautiful and filled with hope and promise. I especially like the last two lines.

Continuing to trust in the One who is greater than illness, than fear, than anything - every knee shall bow and every tongue confess, that Jesus is Lord - when the fear comes (and I need to take this to heart, especially when skies turn black), say the name of Jesus and see what happens. :) Beautiful faith building write, Allen, well done -

(((((HUGS))))) love and prayers for you and Leah (and China), Karla.

Glad you are reading the bible and keeping the faith. Prayers still with you and keep on writing if you can. Enjoyed this poem, it is so neat.
