If I had A Million Wishes

If I had a million wishes, I would give them all to you.

I would wish you peace, health and total happiness.

Yet if I only had one wish I would wish forever to taste your love.

If I had a thousand dreams, I would lay them all at your feet.

I would bring to you fantastic things all bright and new.

Yet if I only had but one dream, it would be to spend my life with you.

If I had a hundred years, I could never tell you I love you enough.

For in all things eternal, I love you more than life’s gentle touch.

Yet if I only had one year, I would spend each waking moment with you.

For there is no thing in this world and the world that resides above;

There is no thing that I would not do to secure your happiness, health and love.

If I only had one wish….it would be given to you
