Enough Is Enough

Enough says this old man; the journey is too long; I’ve had enough.

Weariness of days chases the night; I realize now that I don’t belong.

I grow tired of the battle against all the rights and all the wrongs.

Enough is enough, for I am so tired of being in the silence alone.

Grief groups galore; kids come to say hello, more sounds out on the lawn.

People come and people talk, yet outside the sound I find myself overdrawn.

So enough is enough as the days draw to a close; for the time has come for me to pass on the torch to another forgotten one.

Allen,
Need I remind you that you have a book to write to write so Leah is never forgotten? What about the folks who will find peace in your writings?

Tina

The pain, the pain is so deep in these lines: please don't give up. Would Leah want you to? Please, please: talk to someone. I'm here, if you need to bounce, bounce. I'm here. God's as close as your breath. Talk to Him. To SOMEONE. Know you've been in, continue to be, in my prayers -

(((((HUGS))))) and love, Karla. :(
