The Fog & Memories
A heavy fog clings like cobwebs to the naked limbs of winter’s trees.
It cushions away the sounds of life; conjuring up memories of you and me.
Its whiteness is eerie and calmly still; laden is the sky; soft are its gentle drips.
I breathe in its moisture and I taste the remnants of your sweetness on my lips
I feel like a ship lost and adrift in a sea so full of an impenetrable white.
I listen for waves crashing against rocks; I search the blank horizon seeking a beacon of light.
Yet I see nothing nor do I hear the sounds that call out of life.
I only have my memory of you…yet somehow, oh somehow in this blanket of whiteness I feel you by very my side.

So beautiful, so comforting, fog and the memories of the love you had - have - for Leah. Beautiful image and write.
(((HUGS))) love and continued prayers, Karla.
(((HUGS))), much love, and continued prayers~
As always, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :)
May your 2009 be much kinder to you; keep on leaning on the Lord and on friends! And above all, know that Leah is still with you, and she's now your own personal guardian angel! Hang on to that, and know she still loves you! (As do I and so many others!)
