Naked

Gray skies bleed into the brown fields.
moments stolen from the hearts simple will.
Naked limbs dance like ghost in the wind.
Creaking; clattering reminders of another time back then.

A gathering of crows perch atop the the seemingly lifeless trees.
They caw forth breaking the gray silence in the winter of my dreams.
A light drizzle begins to fall; and as my heart quietly remembers...
I then realize it is not the trees that are bare after all...but me.

I see that it is I which stands naked beneath the gray winter skies.
I see that it is me with heart and soul opened to the revelations of time.
I am exposed and vulnerable in this gray cold time of lost dreams.
Naked and forgotten like the black crows that call out to the nothingness it seems.

Never forgotten by any of us. You are such a tremedous writer and lead us on in the battle of grief. I am so lonely again too I had to write about it after 2 yars an more, It is such a sorry thing that we cannot carry on as before but God knws best what is good for us and we have to depend on him and ourselves for our happiness. Cheers to youtoday and thanks for sharing your thoughts. Always accepted.

Allen, you are such a gifted writer... I do hope you will realize that very soon! I know writing helps the healing, but in the process...you bring us (the readers) so much peace... hugs, lindalaw

Allen,

You are not forgotten: it's when we're at our most vunerable (naked) that God moves in and holds you in His arms. A powerful, powerful write - very well done.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
