Blue Raindrops
Blue are the cold raindrops which crease my very soul.
Tiny drops of a lost love; torrents that leave me so cold.
Clouds gather and snicker as they attempt to shut out the sun.
Yet as I walk along these blue avenues I reach out now for another one.
Her smile is so sweet and her heart is so pure with love that is so true .
She with just the touch of her hand lifts forever these dark clouds.
And with a small but gentle kiss erases these raindrops so blue.
So it is upon these seas of crystal dreams that carry hearts once so blue.
Though miles upon miles divide this hope; in faith all things can be new.
Therefore in these thoughts I caress the singularity of this simple night.
And I await….I wait for the simple pureness of the butterfly’s annual flight.

I especially liked the first stanza, but all of it is superb.
Cryssa
This is so raw, so intense, so beautifully blue - captures that color to a T. Personal experience shades these lines effectively, powerfully - well done.
(((HUGS))) love and prayer, Karla.
