Softly An Angel Speaks
Angels speak in hushed tones and delicate whispers that only few shall hear.
They speak of heart and soul; they collect the dreams of the faithful.
And to those that should only believe they in secret flight draw ever near.
They alight upon the shoulders of those drawn so weary in battle and of heart,
They bring forth the dreams of light that were born in the midnight oh so dark.
I speak to an angel every night as does she in soft whispers speaks so tenderly to me.
Her sincerity; her pureness of soul sets forth a future of of hope and sweet dreams.
Yet it was by chance, by fate, by the only a desire that I should still believe.
Oh Thou that another angel should in my darkest hour come unto and visit unto me.
I try to but bless her heart, yet in turn she blesses my very soul.
For it is of angels that speak in hushed tones that now make my life once again whole.

I love the way you make the angels into disciplines of our sin. This is beautifully written.
