Morning Whispers

Morning Whispers

Soft words from a quiet morning dream touch my sleep.

Gentle are the whispers that quietly sing songs of joy to me.

Chance encounters are laid before a glowing midnight sun,

Where dreams are resurrected and promises kept by two…not one.

Oh how I like this day…

Oh how I like the burning night.

Pray tell why do I feel this way?

Is it because it seems so right?

So sleep now, will I upon the mornings gentle sea.

I will sleep, I will dream and I will think of thee.

Hello J. Allen,

Such tender comforting words webbed into this beautiful softly tender poem, as soft as the whispers it sings about. The resolute last lines complete its serenity, really nice.
