She Loves Me…She Loves Me Not…She….
The late afternoon thunderstorms left the air crisp and cool at the end of the day.
The flowers that dotted the peaceful meadow were now bowing down as if to pray.
He walked softly up the hill and found his favorite spot in the tall wet grass.
It was here he would take his break from work and build on dreams meant to last.
He thought again about her as he closed his eyes and pictured her sweet smile.
He remembered her delicate words this morning and thought of her beauty undefiled.
He then opened his eyes and retreated slowly from this most precious and subtle dream.
And he recalled her promise to him; one that in his heart he knew she would keep.
He smiled to himself at this thought as he watched the last rays of the sun fade away.
And as he was about to leave to return to work he heard his heart audibly say….
“Capture now of this moment in this day of your life and time.
Let not a minute escape, and hold not the feelings that are on your heart and mind.
Seal your words with simple sincerity and never forget to totally love.
For your days are of His blessings which comes from heaven above”
He then picked a daisy from the meadow so dark and green….
He plucked a petal and then another and another
And recited a little ditty he knew as a child…
She loves me…she loves me not…she…
Then he smiles…..
