Fragile Hearts
Fragile are the hearts that beat with angel wings.
For they see; they feel, and softly to self in silence sing.
Worn on their sleeve for the entire world to see.
They surrender to the whispers of promises and dreams.
These hearts live; they beat to the rhythm of angel wings.
They believe; never doubting that truth reigns supreme.
Some sleep in the shadows, waiting, oh waiting to be redeemed.
Others wilt beneath the cruel reality of broken dreams.
Should thou now see a fragile heart that only seeks?
Should to thy spirit ponder this and to thine own heart believe?
Therefore impress to this spirit, which softly sings.
That this of fragile hearts beats with angel wings.
