Only Three Days and A Prayer for Jan

Just three…mere simple days has changed my life in so many ways…at last I professed my love after Leah for another, only to be dealt the blow of darkness and its evil hand. Last night after work, my new love had prepared a supper fit for a king, and then…oh then the nightmare begins. It seems she had a sudden aneurism and collapsed to the floor. I provided immediate care and called the ambulance. To the hospital we went, God bless her heart and soul…this is not the way new love is meant. Seems that they cannot treat a case such as this here and she was air lifted to the Medical University Of South Carolina in Charleston. Her 16 year old son was on a church mission trip with five other local churches and once I got them word they put him on a plane home…I am soon to go a pick him up…console him and let him know that he is not alone. We will more likely than not leave out for Charleston, SC. tonight if I can only get an hour or two in sleep. Thus if you should read this…don’t say a prayer for me, rather pray for who I thought my new wife to be…pray for her son who has already at 12 lost his dad…Oh Lord, how can life be so cruel, and why is it that in darkness we are schooled?

Only Three Days and A Prayer for Jan

Only three days after my last post.

Hearts sorrow and sadness again is my host.

Just when I once more allowed my heart to love again,

I find the cruel dark shadows are still creeping in.

It’s not fair…no…it is just not fair.

For I am not easy to love…I wear my heart on my sleeve,

And when such hurt does arrive….to my soul it seems to cleave.

So prayer for Jan and pray for her son…

Pray that for once...Light over darkness will be won…please

We do not understand God's way, and I guess we are not supposed to here on Earth. I lost my cousin Charles on Tues this week and he left his 88 year old mother alone, not understanding why either. I will try to help her all I can there was a reason for it.

My heart cracks open at this news - so sorry. Makes me wonder why God would allow this to happen. Why, after all the sadness He would give you some happiness only to take it away? No. I refuse to believe that. Prayers for Jan, her son, and YES, for you.

Oh yes! I will pray for her. I will pray for her Son and I will include in my prayers. I can identify with the hurt when one allows himself to be vulterable by loving.
