Stay Now With Me

On the simple cusp of a wink and a soft whisper came my hopeful dreams.

Yet life and love walks softly across the many fields of our desperate lives it seems.

One minute we are sure; our lives together held once again by love secure.

However, in the blink of an eye that hope and security vanishes like a fleeting wind.

I walk now on broken roads, I travel the paths of the unknown and my soul is troubled.

I asked God for love again after Leah, and He in his grace bestowed upon me the beauty of Jan.

Now again that my heart is consumed with the love for another I fear deep inside.

I have always, and still believe that the  Lord God can do all things.

Though these days now seem darker than ever without her by my side.

I know…I believe and I still dream that she will someday be my bride.

For our life is built on love secure, even through in troubles we shall endure.

So this poem is for you baby, this lament is from the depths of my very soul.

Therefore this night, this hour, this very minute I pray that God will make you whole.

I love you Jan…Stay now with me.
