Why Do We Love?

Love, what is it? Is it just an animalistic emotion that grips the heart? Or is it something deeper and more eternal? I say that love is born of God; I say that love is eternal. For when one commits before God Almighty, then one commits. Though trials arise to which often they are many; our focus must remain on love and love unconditional. Though we all deserve the penalty of death, Jesus came and loved us all unconditionally. He died so that we may live. Are you willing to die so that another shall live? Is your heart so prepared that you should but give your life for another? I ask myself often�am I selfish�do I seek self gratification above the needs of others? I pray that I shall always put the needs of others before myself, and I also pray that you, the reader will do so as well. For this life is temporal, just a whisper in the sands of eternity.

Why Do We Love?

We love because God instilled love in our spirit.

We love for this is His commandment to all that see.

Should not we strive to in Him forever believe?

For it is by His love that to eternity we shall cleave.

I like you all have loved and lost, yet that does not keep me to still seek.

For love is like a faint whisper on a descending wind.

We know not when it shall start, nor when it shall end.

Just remember God and His plan for you.

His presence in your life He has always known.

His plan, if you should but listen to the wind

Will in your spirit truly be shown…trust in Him
