The Soft Whisper In Your Ear
I am the delicate soft whisper in your ear.
I am the gentle falling rain on a winter’s day.
I cleave now to your bosom in search of ever.
I shine like the sun when you are near.
Do you feel now the strike of hearts solemn desire?
Can you but taste the tenderness of these lips afire?
Seek me now me to forever in sweet love to hold.
Shy not away from the sureness of thy soul.
Care not for the night which once held my place.
Yet see the worn lines which carve the essence of my face.
Taste of me in the morning, and hold me ever close.
For I am the delicate whisper that your heart will forever know.
