Heroes

Last night’s Super Bowl brought many surprises both in score and in gamesmanship. On one Packer touchdown the receiver was penalized for excessive celebration. Yet if you will recall the two touchdowns by Greg Jennings what one saw was not excessive celebration, but a knee bowed and thanks given to God. This is so refreshing in light of the fact that so many children look up to sports figures looking for a hero. Yet the examples that so many set are negative.
