An Old Man’s Dream
He’s old and does not move like he used to, but he still dreams.
Life has sometimes been tough but God has always met his needs.
Now as the latter days slip softly toward the twilight of his years.
He has one last dream; the smell of woods on acres of his own land.
He wants to hear the trees; he longs for the quiet and prays it’s near.
For on the words of an essay written sound and true , he trusts his dream is at hand.
