The Road Home
I drift, I sail, and I fall from sight far away.
I follow the wind and pink hues of the sleepy day.
The road so straight, so narrow burnt into my mind.
I drift like the dust into the passages of another time.
I follow no pattern, my boundaries unlimited-unseen.
Yesterday is but my shadow and tomorrow my secret dream.
You see me now and in the blink of an eye I am suddenly gone.
For I follow HIS voice as I travel the long straight road home.
