Lindsay: A Teacher of Dreams
A passion to learn,
A desire to share.
A love for children to teach of whence was afore:
The truth which lie in the legends of before.
In her eyes as I spoke to her of the ancient past.
I could see a fire burning,
A mind devoted to teaching future generations what once was,
In hope that we as a people learn from the past.
For it has been quoted time and time again,
‘If we fail to learn of our past, we are doomed to repeat it once again.’
Lindsay, oh Lindsay, when in exuberance she doth speak,
Her voice like unto John the Baptist whose cries in the wilderness shall be heard amongst those who seek knowledge and wisdom amongst the meek.
Impressed am I in youth and beauty so young.
The desire; the passion to teach; to expand the minds of our children,
Our future, our existence in a life which by chance has come undone.
