A Tribute to Clint…
Allen’s cousin passed away this week,
Only 48, still young, just at his peak.
I only met him twice,
He always had a smile in his eyes and always said something nice.
So many love ones to mourn his death,
We hope he wasn’t alone when he took his last breath.
He still had much to give…Why did he go?
Did God need him more, this we’ll never know…
With a beautiful lady at his side,
A fine young son, with a child of his own,
This little baby boy will never remember his love.
At least his own Dad was waiting for him above.
Allen remembers the days of their youth,
Happy and lucky when shooting hoops.
Playing softball on hot summer days,
Cousins together having fun at play.
In recollections mind,
Allen wishes that there were more visits together and…time.
Clint, the bands drummer, husband and father.
Pa-Pa and son, brother and friend to all others.
You played so many parts…
Gone from this earth but not from our hearts.
RIP Clint Turner
