A stroll through the last garden that we all will know.
Sunday, September 28, 2003
I walked into a garden of eternal rest today, savoring the silence and reading the stones for what they had to say.
Over here lies James born in 1929, He was a good husband, father, and friend to many.
Next to him is Judy his beloved wife, a woman of honor who passed into glory in 1985.
It seems a shame that all life’s battles, the worries and pain, all end with these stones of silence in a garden called perpetual paradise.
A land that is silent, yet speaks volumes to those that listen, Chapters unfold before ones eyes as each epitaph begins to describe, the life of those interned below.
I cast my eyes upon this lush green knoll, and wished that I could only behold the secrets that they know.
