Faces in time, beautiful faces of

 Those that put words to rhyme.

Profiles in courage some proclaim, along

 With histories and deeds sprinkled with fame.

Care of their loss, their love and some that

Have had more than life’s share of pain.

Word upon word, their life unfolds as

As each poet, reveals a bit of their soul.

I laugh with those that share their humor and

I cry, as I read of unrequited love,

I smile with joy in the lines that tell of 

days gone by.

Drinking in the pleasures of reading every line.

Hours upon hours, never without an end,
