When I was Ten, Eternity was a summers vacation from school, At seventeen, it was until I reached eighteen. But now as I approach Fifty, Eternity is as close as tomorrow. For many I know, would say it is so, if only they could, but their voices are silent now and their dreams have passed away. No longer shall they be, for yesterday, was their tomorrow. If my judgment is sound, this truth here I have found, that In youths eternal bliss, the reality of eternity is missed, and as we grow old, we remember how as children we once were. Thus this adds another grievance to our day, for no matter our age, or our exterior's worth....we still recall, being a child at play on youth's eternal summer day, when eternity was still summers vacation from school.

My Mother turns 60 yrs in 2 days and she will graduate from Law School on December 12th, 2003. She will start working in a law firm on November 1st, 2003. Part-time that is,maybe full time. She actually has people WAITING for her to come to work! They want Divorces!
She is getting a little up there in years but is not letting that deter her at all! I am astonished I have even LIVED as long as I have!
The Neurosurgeon Originally told Me and Mom back in May of 1989 that I had LESS THAN 2 YEARS TO LIVE!
I had a brainstem tumor that could not be taken out for eight and a half years. It was not taken out until September 3rd, 1997 and it took me 18 months to recover from that surgery. Then, 20 months after the surgery, I had ANOTHER shunt revision on my brain for the hydrocephalus! UGH! Details!
Anyway, I am doing sooo much better now though and have not had surgery on my brain since November of 1999.
