Forsaken

Some days are like this :(

Thursday, December 11, 2003

 What does it matter?

for the end of it is still the same,

there is neither rhyme nor reason

 to this misaligned game.

I am heavy with dismay,

for I have viewed life’s final chapter

in an entirely different way.

I compared it to the past,

Yet still it has no reason,

For there are no victories here,

only defeat,

for when all is written

 and the dark angel calls

 another journey begins,

Then you realize it was all for naught.

 All of life’s struggles

 and the strife taken

can be summed in one word…

Forsaken.

~Excellent poem, my friend..
I hope all is not forsaken in
your world.:( I feel the same
at times...but we have to be
strong and not be swayed by
the howling winds that come.

Some days Allen, I feel the same,
More days I have better thoughts,
But when it comes down to it,
I hope I wont feel that way even just a bit.

I love it !! Yes it is all forsaken, nd ever will be, I guess, smiles, It is true though, s Emerson stated, and I take it he was right, that in the end it is, seems, that our tendress moments of joy and quainted victory flee us past, while the vice seems to stay, linger, and also sprout, yet the vision in part, and the knowlege also, thanks, al, something that had to be said
