Soft is the flow upon this river of gold,
For your sweet face is etched upon my soul.
I long for you in my silent and secret dreams,
My heart is for you and you alone to know,
For all it is as it seems.
So this you must tell, for I want you to know,
that my love for you is like the rivers flow,
soft, pure, and of finest gold.
I desire that of your lips I am soon taste
For the night has been long without you
And I wish to hold you, and caress your face.
So make no haste in love’s endeavor
for I shall always want you,
forever and ever.
