Betrothed to none, am I,
in this valley of pirouetting suns.
Where the nuances of yesterday
intertwine with tomorrow,
leaving ellipses on fragile minds
that are unable to grasp its sum.
Thus giving way to surreal and eerie sights,
With silver blue skies, to haunt the weary eye,
Splattered with refractions of my regrettable past,
that stand still as stone upon a seamless black sky.
Showers of pain are all that remain,
in this valley of pirouetting suns.
For the sum of the ellipse has won,
And I…in my final swaying…graying plight,
am done…I surrender it all to the Son.
