For every turn and twist of my quivering fate,
I know now, His blessings upon me were made.
And for each time that I in limited knowledge spake,
Of cruel or failed endeavors that my life did partake,
I can now see, that it was just me, that failed to understand.
For it was all designed by Him this way, for me unawares…
for it is and it was the blessings of His Hand.
I sit now in the silence of my somber reflection,
And ponder the what if’s of life in another direction.
Yet, still the answer that comes so boldly to me,
Is that no matter the way or direction, I did go,
His hand is on me, and in his love, blessings he would bestow.
For all I have to do is examine the roads of life I did take,
And even in all my errant ways, His hand was there without mistake.
Even now when by human nature, I grumble and complain,
I wonder what Blessing in disguise is coming my way.
For can not you see…His blessings are everywhere,
And they are not just for me…so take a look around,
And tell me what you in true soulful reflection see.
Is it the sound of a bird as he sings from the perch of a tree?
Or is it the tree itself, and the shade it does provide.
Yet still, maybe its the sight of children, as they run and hide.
And what of the splendor of having a friend,
Do not you see…his blessings never end.
I could you know, take this to a tale of woe,
But if you listen real, real close, you can see blessings to be found.
For even in a tale of heartache and loss,
There are blessings under the cover of sorrow that do abound.
All one has to do is…be still and in the softness of the day,
And Look around.
For in His Love, he has covered both you and me, with Blessings from above.

your verses sing.
'
For it was all designed by Him this way, for me unawares…
for it is and it was the blessings of His Hand."
I see joy gleaming through every tear of sorrow...Bravo!
Or is it the tree itself, and the shade it does provide.
Wonderful poem and message here, J. Allen.
