Silenced was the voice of shadow
and the space pours into open eyes of water…
The day will be born, in the fluidity of the sun
and the air will sprout in gulps of light…
Come with me, drink the fire singing in the petals
and mist me of dreams with cores of fruits…
This, my Love, the tangible harvest
upon reinventing lips.

Xuxa,

Reading this poem is like
floating on a cloud,
sailing on a calm sea,
resting in a meadow.

This poem is like one tiny fruit
bursting with enough juice for an entire harvest.

In awe of your skill,
Teu Joseph

the same line BlueFlame said. Wow, does that just seize something nameless in me! also love the way your poetry plays so subtly off its title, always makes me think I need to choose mine more carefully :) beautiful poem, Dawn
