Blank and believable
Unbelievable;
But words can explode, before your very eyes, in a thousand pieces of blindness.
Then, for a moment, or delay of a memory in dispersion, flavours may linger, like dust,
to the back of your throat.
But then, a scratchy perception of insipidness will make you cough;
and void, is what you’ll retch.
Unbelievable;
But this will be followed by a certain relief.
A relief as certain as the demise of illusion under collapsing cries;
or the ground-zero of reconciled apathies;
or the peace of missing absolutely nothing.
Yes, like when you give up the ghost;
all the ghosts, in fact, but the spirit.
And the spirit, as breath, blows away, of them, what are not even ashes anymore.
Unbelievable;
But then, more than overcome, you become.
Yes, your own midwife;
naturally delivering born-again pages of yourself;
Blank and believable.
