Alchemy of black...assertive silvery moon
darkness not a fright
mistress of beast...fantasies in slow motion
linger in the satin mist...procure the beauty of it

A quixotic moment in time...differences
between the thoughts
in your head and the desires in your heart

Let the Beauty of the Beast in your dreams
enlist the wind in allegorical play
with the ravens magic, midnight sky to assist

Volition to harness imaginations
a rare white raven apparition to complete
convalescence of a midnight ride

This has an imaginative theme, we associate our dark side with unease not convalescence, why? Excellent play on words in verse three. Familiar word forms constrain our use of language, you have broken free in this piece.

. . . and what a ride will be I have no doubt. White raven. I would love to see one of those. I like this "darker" side of you, my friend.
