Etching for Perception

Poem Artwork

Windows like arms thrown
wide open bearing of sight
ebbing from sunset lending
love being the lure of luster
in sunrises living the duality
given elusive horizons ever
changing gleaning of array

Wiping windows periodically
over ruling unseen dankly
evolving days accumulating
begetting wisdom of sight
for such a clean undertaking

Widen your mind un square the
panes stripping esthetic value
employing the depth swimming
with dolphins holding your breath
then releasing latches of feelings
exerting certainty of peace
living in glass houses as we do

Picturesque open arms for
window viewing is likened to
opening Soul for Heart giving

That first line uniquely captures the act of throwing open the windows to take in the view. Of course we nearly always forget that the view through windows is two way. Nice theme.

Or, as I found out in October 2011, forgiving yourself of your past misdeeds, because you are not the same person that you were then.

You always give the reader a bright sunshine view of things, Vivian, and usually a way to follow that sunshine. Good on you.
