This prompted me to read a few chapters of Summa Theologica to see if predestination had been mentioned therein. Just goes to show what a few lines of simple philosophy can do.

We can not see many things and trust in our faith
faith is our eyes for things we cannot see, Vivian.
I enjoyed reading your well-written poem. Vivian I loved the verses,
"Trust in your soul even if you cannot see it, that is so true because whatever it is that we are, we can't deny the fact that it is.
Unfortunately, "what is meant to be," may not be very pleasant when something untoward strikes through no fault of the person's behavior. The soul has no part in these random things that just happen.
