We are born to suffer

No one can escape suffering especially if he is to avieve in life.

We are born to suffer

Yes, we are indeed born to suffer.

The marrow of my bones says that;

It’s not the Buddha’s sermon alone

That I echo. It’s a deeply felt view.

Whatever surrounds me will inflict pain;

What I accept and what reject.

Those, my friends, that see me outdo them,

Those that I compete with, those that I regret;

Will each add to my misery through jealousy,

Rivalry and for fun’s sake. Those that love me

Will make me most sad, those that hate will

Speak like my dad in criticism and condemnation.

But suffering it is that will do the trick; it is

This that will enhance my growth, my gains,

Fathom out my depths, break away my chains, till

I’ve reached that point where I am on the path

Of solitary advancement and hope. “The road to success is

 Lonely” is as true and as trite as the adage “We’re born to suffer”.

There Are NO MIRACLES--

(God) Threw Out That Rope And
You As I Either Hang To It Or
You Hang Yourselves In The (Lasso) Loop--

As And Most Certainly You MAJORITY Of

YOU HANG YOURSELVES IN THE LOOP...

You are absolutely right with this poem describing how we cannot escape the inevitable suffering that comes from realization and growth. We were born in pain and will die in pain.

In this life, we undergo suffering. Rich and poor alike endure it to some degree. When we put our trust in Jesus Christ instead of ourselves, He gives us strength to endure. Not only that, but He understands our deepest need and suffering. When we turn to Him in repentance and in faith that He is our all-sufficient Savior, He will never leave us or forsake us.
Can you surrender yourself into His care as Savior, Lord and Friend? The Bible then says that nothing will separate us from His love.
Further, we are to praise Him in everything. In some mysterious way, because He is God, He "inhabits our praises" as the bible says.
There is so much to discover when you accept Jesus as your Savior. He may not cure your ills and miseries, but He will change your heart and give you all you need to get through them with hope, knowing in the end you will live with Him forever.

With care and prayer,
Connie

We are born to suffer? I hope not my dear friend. I think we were born to help one another through this mystery called life. The first thought I thought of when I read your poem is how to help you. I am surely no medical expert but I have seen miracles happen. I pray for a miracle in your life to heal you back on the road to good health. Amen!
