Running as the river's flow misery is hanging over me trying to get the feeling that drew me to you, and you to me trying to be, what we used to be
Love, it is said, heals all wounds but some wounds fester on to heal it, takes more than some of us are willing to give, the reasons some of us can't condone but I will never give up on the idea of love
I grasp for it, fleeting tho' it has been I keep losing it, even when I think , "this time I'm gonna win!" and my muddy waters flow on yes, they're cloudy and cold but they still flow on
Everytime I roll over, I seem to fall on my head some days, it's hard to get out of bed I make a move, and it starts all over again clouds muddle my view darkness brings on the pain but I won't stop my search for love, I'll never give in so on, my muddy waters go stirred by hope, on and on they flow
I know the feeling, but being alone can be a wonderful time to find yourself...stay positive love will come when it's supposed to. Sad but nicely written...~Z~
