Fluttering as tiny wings softly scratching at my senses.... (Leaving me.)
Digging deeply, gnawing at that which is me corroding my thoughts.... (Life without you.)
I can't shake it, can't rid myself of it's powerful pull.... (No more you.)
Magnetically, I am led to it journeying forth to it..... (This reality. ) A destiny unsure in it's wake voicelessly in anguish, I cry out.... (Alone without you.)
Desperate to escape this drowning this dark pool of confusion muddling my thinking...... (No more "us two".)
Memories of times not far off pale, fading from my mind as prints in wet paint they smear into nothing..... (Can't live without you.)
I reach out for you catch me from this sinking save me from my own self tend my broken heart heal my battered soul with your tenderness love me til I'm once more whole...... Please, love me again.

What a wonderfully, soft, loving poem. How your ache and need come through these lines. I can feel your movement and excitement toward another lonely soul; also searching, searching, searching. Good job on writing this poem Denise. Bill hugs
