We still need to believe in our dreams, even through the nightmares we must endure in life. I wrote this on 08/14/01, I feel that is appropriate for this past week that has changed us all in some way.

Never wait until tomorrow
To search for those dreams of today
For we never know when the road may end
And we will pass away.

Don't regret a single moment
A day, or month or year.
Don't wish it all away for naught
Walk boldly into fears.

Soar with the eagles while here on earth
You can live here and yet can fly.
Don't wait until you are no more
And no one hears your cries.

Pity those who've lost their chance
Who live beyond with "what if"
Know that when you cross the door
Your back with a thousand grins.

You can say you learned your lessons
You taught a few as well.
You made a difference, your legacy remains
Tell death to go to hell.
