I wish I had a Dragon to fight

let emerge the Wild Man inside of me,

stop living in a world of nice and polite,

rescue the Beauty I cannot see

Augustine said: " Longing is the Heart's Treasury"

if so my desire is a dilemma too,

I long for a battle to fight, a beauty to win,

does my poem speak to any of you?

To open my heart, desire the dream

is to risk pain I didn't know,

but O I do not wish for a quiet life,

the Wild Man is part of my soul

Bilbo said" Risky entering the world of desire

a dangerous business" he did say,

" No knowing where you'll be swept off to"

but playing it safe isn't the way

And so I voice here alone

that Love will weave its Poetic art,

like the softness of a sweet cello,

find the path to my lonely heart

Better to risk it all for Passion

I'm a Wild Man full of desire,

the dilemma for any guy, to play it safe,

or let Romance consume him with Erotic Fire
