In the deep dark forest
I often go to be alone,
to write in my blue notebook,
away from the net or cell phone
It's better to write alone
among crowds I don't do so well,
with leaves falling down, gentle air,
my Muse whispers louder than a Bell
Some want so much for so little
make things easier, no struggle at all,
but Diamonds are formed under pressure,
better to stand out than hug a wall
When I first started down Poetry
didn't think I had anything to say,
only thought I had 3-4 good poems,
I felt I would soon lose my way
But like the sight of a Beautiful Woman
or the dawning of a sunrise too,
I felt words like raindrops, softly fall,
that drew my heart to you
To poetry, I never thought I would say
how you colored my soul, with Love,
my pen whispers in silent black ink,
the gift given from my Father Above
Anna
it is amazing how words flow...
especially in the confines of nature away
from everything distracting and electronic...
another lovely expressive thought of a poem Dark...
Love and Light
