Though tired, bruised and bloody From the wears & tears of life
She is the one Who climbed to the mountain top Of my world and with tender heart Searched for God's spirit And asked him For his guidance in rearing me
She is the one Who strapped me to her back And carried me across The desert of poverty and discrimination
She is the one Who beat down my obstacles With her big stick of determination
She is the lawgiver Who gave my heart The laws on how to love a woman
She is the one Who delivered me Into this milky world Overflowing with her motherly sweetness

It is said to know how a man will treat you is to watch how he treats his mother. The respect and love you show in this write of your mother shows me that you would be wonderful with the women in your life :-) Fantastic write. One of the best tributes I have seen on mothers.
